Don't see your city or township? Call us at 1-647-428-4111 or send a message. We will reply to your fare inquiry instantly.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at borderlimo.com and all limousine transportation services provided by Border Limousine ("we," "our," or "us"). By booking a service, using our website, or travelling in one of our vehicles, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Booking and Reservations
- All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by Border Limousine. A booking is not considered confirmed until you receive a written confirmation via email or SMS.
- You may book via our website, by telephone at 1-855-552-5559 or 1-647-428-4111, or by email at info@borderlimo.com.
- You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, travel dates, flight numbers, number of passengers, and any special requirements at the time of booking.
- To complete and confirm any reservation, we require valid credit card information. Service must be pre-paid in full via any credit/debit card on file provided at the time of booking.
- Bookings should be made at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee availability. Last-minute bookings are accommodated on a best-effort basis and may incur a surcharge.
- Changes to confirmed bookings (date, time, vehicle type, or route) must be communicated at least 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Changes are subject to availability.
- It is the customer's responsibility to verify all information in the confirmation email -- pickup date, time, address, flight number, etc. Please respond immediately if any correction is required. Once your ride is dispatched according to the confirmation, payment will not be reversible or refunded.
2. Payment & Authorization
- All prices quoted are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Drivers do not process payments in the vehicle. A payment receipt will be issued upon processing.
- Your payment will be charged a day before your trip on the credit card on file for the basic fare, applicable taxes, gratuity, and Pearson Airport pickup fee where applicable. Once charged, payment is non-refundable. In some cases, a credit may be issued toward future trips.
- Authorization: By submitting a ride request, you authorize Border Limousine to charge your provided payment method for the use of services. You confirm that you are the cardholder and/or authorized user of the provided credit card. For certain ride requests, completion of a Credit Card Authorization Form may be required. You are liable for the cost of services and fees, which are detailed in your email confirmation and these Terms. You will accrue fees and may be subject to legal action for any unpaid amounts.
- Corporate accounts with approved credit terms are billed on a net-30 basis.
3. Service Charges, Tolls & Surcharges
The following charges may apply in addition to the quoted base fare. All applicable charges will be disclosed in your booking confirmation.
Taxes & Gratuity
- All rates are subject to 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). HST is the combination of the 5% Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the 8% Ontario Retail Sales Tax.
- All reservations are subject to a driver's gratuity of 15% on Sedan Cars and SUVs, and 20% on Stretch Limousines, Sprinter Vans, and Transit Vans.
Cross-Border Trips
- A Cross-Border Toll Fee of $11.25 applies to all trips to or from the Buffalo and Detroit border crossings.
- Additional bridge, tunnel, and US road tolls may be passed through at cost.
Child Safety Seats
- Each Infant, Toddler, or Booster child safety seat is an additional $10 per seat.

4. Cancellation Policy & Associated Charges
We require 24 hours' prior notification of the scheduled pickup time for cancellations or rescheduling.
More than 24 hours before pickup
Full refund. No cancellation fee. You may also reschedule at no cost, subject to availability.
Re-scheduling within 24 hours of pickup
A re-scheduling fee equal to 25% of the base fare plus tax will be applied.
Cancellation within 24 hours of pickup
A cancellation fee equal to 50% of the base fare plus tax will be charged to the credit card on file.
No-show
If you fail to appear at the scheduled pickup location within the complimentary wait period (30 minutes for non-airport pickups) without prior cancellation, the full fare will be charged. No refund will be issued.
Sprinter Van, Stretch Limousine & Bus Cancellations
- Bookings for Sprinter Vans, Stretch Limousines, and Buses cancelled at any time more than 24 hours before the trip are subject to a non-refundable fee of $50.
- Cancellations between 12 and 24 hours before pickup will be charged 50% of the fare plus tax.
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the trip will not be refunded.
Long-Lead Reservation Administration Fee
- An administration fee of $20 will be charged for the cancellation of any reservation booked eight (8) or more weeks in advance.
Important: Please do not leave with any other taxi or limo service if your booked driver has not yet arrived. You will be charged the total cost as a no-show. Always contact your chauffeur or our customer support before making alternative arrangements.
Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. If the actual distance or hours used are less than originally booked, the price remains unaffected.
5. Wait Time Policy
- Airport pickups: Sixty (60) minutes of complimentary wait time from the actual flight landing time (not the scheduled time). We monitor flights in real time and adjust accordingly. No additional wait charges apply for airport pickups.
- Non-airport pickups (homes, offices, hotels, clubs, restaurants): Fifteen (15) minutes of complimentary wait time from the scheduled pickup time.
- After the complimentary period for non-airport pickups expires, wait time is billed at $15.00 for every 15 minutes of additional wait time.
- If we are unable to reach you after the complimentary wait period has expired, the trip may be recorded as a no-show and charged accordingly (see Section 4). For non-airport pickups, you will be considered a no-show after 30 minutes of the scheduled time if you do not show up or contact your chauffeur or our customer support.
6. Hourly & Livery Service Radius
For hourly bookings, the trip must always end within the municipal area of the pickup location (typically within 5 to 20 kilometres). Hourly bookings that end outside the municipal area of pickup are subject to Border Limousine's approval and additional fees. An hourly booking always starts at the pickup time confirmed at booking.
7. Cross-Border Travel
- Border Limousine offers limousine service between Canada and the United States at select crossings, including but not limited to Niagara Falls, Windsor-Detroit, Sarnia-Port Huron, and Pacific Highway (British Columbia).
- All passengers are solely responsible for ensuring they possess valid travel documentation -- passports, visas, NEXUS cards, or any other documents required for entry into Canada or the United States. Border Limousine is not responsible for delays at land crossings or any issue raised by Border Service Agency officials related to customers or their belongings.
- Border Limousine is not liable for delays at border crossings, denial of entry by border authorities, or any consequences arising from a passenger's failure to carry proper documentation.
- Cross-border surcharges apply (see Section 3) and will be disclosed at the time of booking.
- Our chauffeurs will not transport any goods, items, or substances that are prohibited or restricted under Canadian or United States law.
8. Luggage
- Standard sedans accommodate up to two (2) large suitcases and two (2) carry-ons. SUVs accommodate up to four (4) large suitcases. Stretch limousines have variable capacity depending on the model.
- The price given in your booking confirmation includes the number of pieces of luggage specified on the booking form. Excess luggage, bulky luggage, or boxes not declared at booking may incur surcharges or require an upgrade to a larger vehicle.
- Please notify us if you need to upgrade to a larger vehicle in advance to avoid major delays, additional charges, or unavailability of a larger vehicle on the day of service.
- If you were transported on the first day of service in a vehicle larger than the one reserved (which may be dispatched due to availability), please do not assume the same size vehicle will be provided for return service if you originally booked a smaller vehicle.
- While our chauffeurs assist with loading and unloading luggage, Border Limousine is not liable for damage to luggage or personal items during transit unless caused by the direct negligence of our staff.
9. Passenger Conduct
- All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion, as required by Canadian law.
- Smoking, vaping, and the use of any illegal drugs inside our vehicles is strictly prohibited. If illegal drugs are used or found in the vehicle, the contract will terminate immediately and no refund will be issued.
- The consumption of alcohol is not permitted in our vehicles unless legally permitted under provincial law for that specific vehicle class. It is the client's responsibility to ensure no alcohol is consumed where prohibited; any fines or charges resulting from violation will be charged to the client.
- Passengers shall treat the chauffeur and vehicle with respect. Verbal abuse, threatening or insulting language, physical violence, or vehicle damage will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of service without completion, with full charge applied.
- Our chauffeurs reserve the right to refuse service to any passenger whose behaviour poses a safety risk to themselves, other passengers, or the driver.
10. Food Policy
The consumption of food is discouraged inside our vehicles. Any messes resulting from food or beverages -- including vomit or urine -- are the responsibility of the user and/or passengers. The user is liable not only for the cost of cleaning the vehicle but also for compensating any loss of business resulting from the vehicle being out of service during the recovery period.
11. Animal & Pet Policy
- Border Limousine reserves the right to refuse the carriage of animals not previously agreed to. This also applies to animals not contained in a closed and suitable transport box or kennel bag.
- Any hearing-impaired person, totally or partially visually impaired person, or physically disabled person travelling with a service animal is permitted to be accompanied by their service animal at no extra charge. Service animals do not require transport in a kennel or soft-sided pet container.
- If damage occurs to the vehicle as a result of an animal, a damage and/or cleaning fee may be charged.
12. Damage, Cleaning & Sanitizing Fees
If a guest causes any damage, spillage, or becomes ill inside the vehicle, the guest is responsible for the cost of those damages and for a professional cleaning fee where required, in addition to any loss of revenue resulting from the vehicle being out of service during the recovery period.
13. Lost & Found Items
Border Limousine is not responsible for any item lost in the vehicle. Please check your belongings carefully before leaving. If a lost item is found, it will be delivered (schedule permitting) for a charge, or shipped at the customer's expense. Unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of after thirty (30) days.
14. Rate Adjustments
Prices are subject to change at any time without further notice. Border Limousine reserves the right to change rates without prior notice as a result of surges in fuel or gasoline prices, or in the event of changes in weather conditions such as icy roads, heavy snowfall, storms, or unsafe road conditions that require the vehicle to be upgraded (for example, from car to SUV) for safety.
15. Service Delay or Termination
Exceptional situations such as vehicle breakdowns, extreme weather, or unsafe/icy road conditions can be compensated only to a limited extent. Longer waiting periods or last-minute cancellations as a result of such conditions must be accepted by users.
16. Liability
- Border Limousine maintains comprehensive commercial vehicle insurance as required by the laws of Ontario and all provinces in which we operate.
- Our liability for any claim arising from the provision of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific booking in question.
- We are not liable for delays caused by traffic congestion, road closures, weather, accidents involving other motorists, construction, border crossing delays, or any circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
- We are not liable for missed flights, missed appointments, or any consequential or indirect losses arising from delays in our service, regardless of cause.
- Passengers travel at their own risk. Border Limousine assumes no responsibility for personal injury except where caused directly by the negligence of our company or our chauffeurs.
- Passengers are liable for any damage to the vehicle or its interior caused by their actions or the actions of their guests.
17. Force Majeure
Border Limousine shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather events (snowstorms, ice storms, flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes)
- Natural disasters (earthquakes, wildfires)
- Acts of government or regulatory authorities (road closures, border shutdowns, travel bans, quarantine orders)
- Civil unrest, strikes, or labour disputes
- Pandemic or public health emergencies
- Terrorist acts or threats thereof
- Power outages or telecommunications failures
- Major highway accidents or infrastructure failures not caused by our company
In the event of a force majeure situation, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or reschedule your service. If service cannot be rendered, a full refund will be issued.
18. Amendments
Border Limousine reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to our website. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes affecting active bookings will be communicated directly to affected clients.
19. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, located in the City of Toronto. The parties agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The failure of Border Limousine to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
